car show and blues brothers

last weekend lil'earl and papa went to a car show with papa.he had lots of fun and met the "blues brothers"....."mama, they were the real ones!" ;) he also had fun cleaning the car and said they should've got a trophy. i say papa should be ashamed of CHILD LABOR!!!! ;) if only he cleaned his room ...........

spike

alas, our 4 legged friend now only has 3 legs. he had a freak accident last week and got his leg tangled up and cut the ciculation off. we tried to save it but were unable. his surgery was tuesday and he came home from the "hospital" yesterday. never a dull moment at hacienda hernandez.

over spring break last week we went to south texas to visit MIL's family and took kids to San Antonio zoo. here are a couple of pics. of course, I have LOTS more and if you want to see, email me and I'll send you the wal-mart link.

grandma billye's house

so, a couple of weeks ago we surprised Grandma Billye with an overnight visit. we had fun and the kids can't wait to do it again.

lobsters and safaris

so, lil earl had his program "under the sea" and he was a lobster(thanks grandma
for making it). he was the coolest lobster there. boo's pictures are from her recent reading safari at school.

fishing

well, recently benito and i, the princess, took lil earl and boo fishing. we had lots of fun. lil earl caught the first fish, followed by boo, who,by the way, got the BIG fish for the day. benito caught several "baby" fish as the kids called them. we had lots of fun. the next day, benito wanted a cake so boo and i went to the store to buy one. boo decided that we couldn't buy a cake with no writing, so, she told the lady what to write:"i caught the BIG fish". let's just say it was pretty funny when we got home and she took it straight to daddy. she is a little cocky about her BIG fish.

crazy hair day

so lil earl had crazy hair day the other day at school. he wore his harlem globe trotters jersey that papa bought him a few days before when he took him to see them. he wore his jersey so he could look like a harlem globe trotter because some of them have crazy hair. he's becoming quite the little comedian. wonder where that comes from?!?

the lifeguard makes me blush

so...i had a gift certificate to a local nail spa and, although i am the princess, i'm not into nails....too many germs can get beneath them in my line of work. so i decided to take boo and enemee for some pampering. enemee got a polish while boo got the whole maincure and polish.the color they picked out was the lifeguard makes me blush, hence the title, although boo calls it pink:) as you can see, enemee wasn't too sure but boo, being the princess in the making was soaking it up!!! so, if any of you want to contribute to the high maintance fund for the wee princess, shoot me an email. looks like i've created a monster. this morning she asked why i didn't get that man to paint her toes..............
