Mother's Day

the kids and the Mr. took a trip to Wichita and we ate at Samuria (yum yum). Then we went to the mall and I got a massage. Then we went to Sam's and he bought me a new CAMERA!!!!! whoo hoo!!! yep, I am a brat;) But what stole the show was my cards the kids wrote.....Boo's said , "Dear Mom, you are as beautiful as _______" she said " a dog". When asked why she said that "there's nothing cuter than a puppy"...lol
Lil Earl's card said "Dear Mom, you are the best mom I ever had." (I guess he's had his share of mothers..lol) Hallmark, you got nothing on my babies!!!

Boo's first dance recital

This weekend Boo had her first dance recital. She of course was WONDERFUL!!! She loved it and says she's gonna be in dance forever....Here are some pics, wish I could get the videos to upload.....

after MUCH physical labor the kids' playset is FINISHED!!!! Benito and I did not get a divorce and I was not phsically harmed (although it was iffy at times;)). Boo and Lil Earl of course love it and I'm sure the neighborhood kids soon too will come play. And yes, I DID GO DOWN THE SLIDE!!!!!;) If this inspires anyone to go out and buy your own park, just know Benito and I will be happy to help you build it....NOT! LOL

catch up post

this will be a catch up post on several random things since it's been a while since I last posted. Last week we had a big rain storm...here are a ocuple of pics of the kiddos playing in the rain....




Last week Benito and I went with Lil Earl's 2nd grade class to the Ft. Worth Zoo. We were in charge of him and 3 of his friends. Here are a couple of pictures from that adventure...

Spring has Sprung!!!!

this past weekend SIL and I took kiddos on a little day trip to see Grandma Billye...as always, we are always scoping for photo ops.....here are a few pics....

first, here are a few of Enemee....she was a little turd to get to cooperate...the sun was too bright so she just kept closing her eyes, but I did manage to get a few good ones, might be my new favorites of her......

since our last post we went back and "saw" elvis one night after daddy got off work (it was only a statue, ugly one at that, but kids think it's cool);)
